3Ms - Monuments, Memorials and Museums

Sara, Daisy and I are taking off on Thursday morning to see the great sights in our nation's capitol. I'm feeling a patriotic pride already. I know there will be crowds and heat, but it'll be worth it. We are flying standby this time. You know what that means...our plans may change if we can't get our flights. We are hoping to get to the Baltimore Harbor and have some crab cakes and maybe check out the neighborhood where I was raised. We are staying in a hotel in the Crystal City section of Arlington, VA. so we'll see what interesting things we can find there. And then of course there's so much to see in DC and most of it is free.
