Daisy picked a winner with this tour of the art deco buildings on South Beach. It was fascinating to learn that virtually all of the buildings on Miami Beach were destroyed by a hurricane in 1926, so they had to decide what style to rebuild the city. Art deco (originating in Paris) was quite the rage at the time so that's what they picked. Here's an original example of it.
