WOW. I am ALMOST speechless. The Cirque show did not disappoint. From the spectacular beginning when the entire venue came alive at the same exact moment, to the finale with all of the cast members chanting "All You Need is Love" it was a feast for our eyes and ears. How do they come up with this stuff? At my favorite part a 4-poster bed was rolled out with much fanfare. Then at some point the mattress started spewing out white fabric. With assistance from the cast as well as the ushers the fabric grew to float just over the heads of the first 1/3 of the audience! We were seated just behind that section and it felt like we were flying in the clouds.
Then there was the Love Bug that was rolled out and spontaneously burst into pieces that were then carried about the stage by the cast!
When I was 13 I actually had a ticket to see the Beatles, but at the last minute my parents decided that with all the ruckus they were causing it was unsafe. Looking back this always makes me sad, but now I feel like I finally made it!
