Last night I caught this shot of the Eiffel tower. I wasn't too impressed with the half-size replica during the day, but at night it was quite lovely.
After covering a good bit of the central strip we started the hunt for dinner. After much debate we settled on a Vegas icon...buffet! We went to the one right in the Mirage where we are staying. I always pictured it like a Golden Coral with better food. But it was more like a classy mall food court, with different cuisine restaurants and specialty stations. Food wasn't really amazing, but it was good quality fare and the variety available made it fun. Best dessert for me? Mmmm...creamy bread pudding!
After dinner the guys had had enough excitement and wanted to chill, but Sara and I hopped in the car to actually DRIVE down the strip. If you are in a hurry, I can see how this street could be nerve racking, but we only went to drink in the sights so it was fun. At the south end of the strip we spotted the famous LV Welcome sign. It's the only sign I know of with its own parking lot!
