Tucked in at the foot of the Ozark Mountains and just a short drive from Little Rock, Petit Jean State Park is a gem to be discovered. The breathe taking views are only the start. Great trails of every length and difficulty wind through rock formations the size of buildings. Trails are nicely marked without taking away from the scenic beauty. One cave, shaped like an amphitheater had Native American art carved into the wall. Hard to believe that just yesterday we were in the cotton fields.
