Jerome

The little town of Jerome hangs off the side of a mountain like an after thought. Though its population today is only about 500 it was once a thriving copper mining town. Considering it became a ghost town before making a bit of a comeback in the 70s, we were impressed with the extensive museum and relics of its past. The plates of "food" displayed there are actually various types of stones lovingly cooked up by a park ranger.
