Mark Twain's House
I thought that an unusal guy like Sam Cleman's AKA Mark Twain would have a neat house and it didn't disappoint. Stenciled walls and ceilings, themed rooms and lots of room for his kids. Fireplaces with windows over them (chimneys on either side diverted the smoke). His bed had a huge, ornate headboard from Venice with angels on the posts that he loved to look at and let his girls remove to use as dolls. With 5 dinner parties a week he was the ultimate networker! It was a pleasant final stop before leaving Hartford, Connecticut for home.
