Our 59-hour express tour of New England spanned 6 states (CT, RI, MA, VT, NH and NY). That makes it sound like I should be exhausted, but I'm not. We never drove more than a few hours without a break to see or do something interesting. We enjoyed the scenery that flew by as well. Truly lovely to see nature renew itself again in greens of every hue as well as vibrant and pastel flowers. We met people with character and saw "attractions" that are often overlooked. We ate well and mostly at local restaurants. We had 2 good night's sleep. Definitely a Mother's Day to remember. No regrets.
