(Post for Daisy) This cache was under a limstone shelf. About 30 feet from it was a shear drop into the canyon. Crazy view of the Verde River (not a lot of water sources here so a river is a big deal) and the cliff surrounding it.
Hum. I just looked. It was only 1.5! It's a bit of an adjustment how many places we've been with huge drops that have no fences or guard rails. Protect thyself seems to be the motto.
John and I are going to the land of geysers, waterfalls, canyons, mountains and lakes. We'll be roaming with the wildlife who spend most of their year without tourists. We will be in their home. We'll be exploring the handiwork of God up close and from high peaks. Wifi has not invaded much of this land, but we will post when we can.

What was the terrain level?!
It was many level plateaus that you could step (or climb) down to the next one. Then a little further on the BIG drop of several 100 ft.
I don't know why it says anonymus up there but it was ME, Daisy. :-) I was asking what the cache page listed as the terrain level; 1? 2? 3?
