We had started the trip in cactus covered scrub land, brown and bare. As we headed north to Sedona the landscape slowly changed, but at one point we went over a mountain and "boom" there was this spectacular red rock formation. John managed to catch it right in the car.
John and I are going to the land of geysers, waterfalls, canyons, mountains and lakes. We'll be roaming with the wildlife who spend most of their year without tourists. We will be in their home. We'll be exploring the handiwork of God up close and from high peaks. Wifi has not invaded much of this land, but we will post when we can.
