We decided to sleep in a bit today and take our time packing up. I had a couple geocaching travel bugs I needed to release, so before getting on the road to Phoenix we went looking for a big cache. This one ended up being off a trail about a quarter mile behind some houses. We noticed this about Sedona as well...there are great hiking trails just a couple blocks off major roads. This one was less than a mile off the famous Route 66. I had to squeeze through the crack to retrieve this huge container. The second photo shows a view of the mountain base it was in.
