Barcelona Day 2

Sept 9
Our plan was to spend the sfternoon at Park Guell - a magically place designed by Antoni Gaudi. But sadly the quota had been reached when we arrived so we would have waited until much later in the day. We opted to enjoy what we could from the outside and be content with the 2 Gaudi inspired buildings planned for tomorrow.
For dinner we hoped on the Metro to eat at La Fonda, recommended by Sara. I concur, it was delicious. I have been eating meat some of the time...tonight we had tender roasted pork and grilled salmon. I had a strong sangria that left me walking home a bit tipsy (and I even ate first!)

We would have had to wait over an hour for the next chance to enter and the time of day combined with the cost did not make this a viable option. The are plenty of "free" areas around the park but that was to much walking for John (me).
